 Hey guys so this blog as you can tell by the title will be about the story board. I'll try to explain it as well as possible because the drawings might not. Somethings to know before I get into it: there will be a voice over talking about struggles and overcoming them, and most of the shots will be slightly tinted with black and blue, the last thing is this commercial is supposed to sell two products and will tell the story of two people with the products by splitting the screen and in one certain scene combining them. So the first scene will be a small pan of the products. I want to show the audience what it is I'm selling. This might be bound to change to the last scene to show the product at the end as I use the commercial to build the excitement.  The second scene will show the characters getting out of bed and placing their foot on the ground with the product in the way as if they put it on .  Hey guys, my main focus on this blog is about my research for my commercial project. I wasn't sure what to choose, you know? I mean there are so many products that you can film on them so I took a step back and thought about what is it a commercial is supposed to do. That answer is simple: hook the audience to buy the product. So I went searching for a lot of super bowl commercials. I noticed that a lot of them were very heavy on the use of ethos and pathos. It reminded me of my genre from my previous project, which was thriller. I made the connection that thrillers and some commercials are very similar. They get you excited about the product and then your stuck thinking "Well maybe I should buy it." So I had the basic idea of the commercial down, all I needed was the product for it.  Hey again, so this blog will be split into different paragraphs rather than a long one just so you can see the format of the plan and not get lost along the way. The Idea: So the plan is to do a Nike commercial as you can tell by the research blog. I want to strike the audience with pathos like a Nike commercial would and I'll do this by showing two people who are struggling in their sports but trying everyday. I feel like this is something a lot of people can relate to. Failing at something but practicing until they reach their goal.  Props: Our main props will be Nike running shoes, and Nike Football Cleats, we'll need sports wear and googles as one of the characters in the team will be swimming. We'll have a helmet, slotted girdle, weights and a work out mat. We'll also be having a phone and two bags or duffle bags.   Hi, my name is Angel Noriega Rodriguez. I know it's a pretty long name. My dad and mom came up with it and honestly I like it. Not that I can do much about it now though. I'm in tenth grade and this is my second year at Fort Lauderdale High School (FLHS.) Last year and this year have been by far my best school years. Not sure if it's just because it's high school but I've definitely been happier since my time at this school. I've made so many friends with the students, teachers, and staff. Going to this school was really a last minute choice, but I'm glad it worked out. With the AICE Diploma I hope to go to Full Sail to study media and film, which leads me to my next topic.
