Story Board Blog

 Hey guys so this blog as you can tell by the title will be about the story board. I'll try to explain it as well as possible because the drawings might not. Somethings to know before I get into it: there will be a voice over talking about struggles and overcoming them, and most of the shots will be slightly tinted with black and blue, the last thing is this commercial is supposed to sell two products and will tell the story of two people with the products by splitting the screen and in one certain scene combining them.

So the first scene will be a small pan of the products. I want to show the audience what it is I'm selling. This might be bound to change to the last scene to show the product at the end as I use the commercial to build the excitement. 

The second scene will show the characters getting out of bed and placing their foot on the ground with the product in the way as if they put it on . I'm doing this to show how the characters wake up ready to start working out and practice.

The third scene would be the characters getting ready to practice. They pack their bags with their equipment and shoes while showing off the logo to the audience. It helps signify that this is a Nike commercial and what the product may be. 

The fourth scene is a little different from the rest. It'll show three exercises being done. Push-ups, crunches/sit-ups, and dumbbell curls. The goal for this scene is to cross-cut as one character goes up to do a sit-up the other character goes down and the same with the other exercises. 

The fifth scene is the characters running out of the shot. This shot is to show them exercising outside and running out of the shot helps show that it will be the last we see of them as it fades to black

The sixth and final shot is the Nike logo and the phrase "JUST DO IT" fading in with white text and finally fading to black to end the commercial.
