Issues with filming over spring break

 Hey guys, so as you can see it's been a while since I last uploaded. Spring break came around on the day I wrote my last blog and so until now I haven't worked on my final task. This isn't the only reason I haven't been unable to work. Unfortunately, my friend who plays one of the characters has tested positive for COVID. We had our suspicions about a day or two after filming when he started showing symptoms. Everyone involved including those in my house hold got tested as it was my house we used for the filming location. Fortunately we tested negative for COVID, not so lucky my friend did not and he had to begin his quarantine. To my knowledge currently only his mother contracted the virus and she is also making a strong recovery. While my friend is ok he did have some tough time during this and for that we'll be having to postpone filming for another week. He plans to get tested for COVID before we begin filming and so are my family and I.  Another thing to have happened is during the spring break my family had planned a surprise trip to the Universal theme park in Orlando, Florida. We stayed safe and no one has shown any symptoms, but we will be getting tested just in case. Overall, we had safety trouble regarding this epidemic that we didn't expect. Despite our safety precautions we won't have a smooth experience for this final task when it comes to the health and safety of our team. In the meantime, I do plan on filming scenes that don't involve my friend. I set a date with my family at the secondary location to begin filming there and will begin to do it over the week.  Hey guys, so for this blog I'll be talking about the week before our second day of filming on the 23rd. After filming on the first day we filled in Anya on everything that happened the first day and decided that we would film again on the 23rd. Leading up to that date Daniellla had helped me get access to Adobe Premeire Pro so I can begin editing. She also uploaded all the videos we filmed on to google drive so we can have easy access to it. We took some videos and photos on Ben's phone and had those sent so we can get the different angles and bloopers. We decided the next steps were to figure out our location and plan for the second day of filming. Short Film Research: Tangles and Knots

  A sticky, intimate bond between mother and daughter becomes threatened when the mother helps her teenage daughter throw a party to impress new, popular friends. Sound: In the dialogue, there is no difference in how the mother and daughter speak to each other, speaking more like friends than mother and daughter. However, when the party starts, the mom begins interjecting herself into the daughter's conversations, teaching her how to take a jello shot and encouraging her to come into the pool. The added sound contributes to the setting, with dance music that helps bring the idea of it being a party altogether. This is made apparent when there is no dialogue and the daughter is just dancing, where all that can be heard is the music she's dancing to. There is no dialogue that needs to be understood or listened to, more so the viewer can focus on the daughter's awkward movements and how she feels in that moment. Planning for the next shoot

 Hey guys, so not much has changed since the last blog. My friend still has COVID and I don't see a time that we'll be able to film the final scenes yet. Fortunately he has gotten better but as far as safety is concerned I don't see a possibility for filming. My new plan for now is to begin editing. Since I filmed the scenes in chronological order I can begin preparing the first cut of the film. This will allow me to see if there are any scenes which may need to be reshot or if I'm missing any scenes that need to be filmed. At first my editing plan was to use Adobe Premiere Pro as I have for my previous projects, but the computer I was using can't handle the program and started malfunctioning. Right now the deadline is nearing and I've been stopped in my tracks due to my friend getting infected. I plan on doing one of two things in order to go around these problems of mine.
