Almost there
Hey guys, so for this blog I'll be focusing on the second day of editing. I wasn't able to continue editing until days after on Saturday the 29th. Friday I had to work and by the time I was back I needed to go to sleep. I planned to edit in the morning the next day and then go to work. I had a lot of work in general from finishing the editing film to meet deadlines and other school work, I decided to take the day off. I was able to finish the majority of the film. I put everything the first minute to the final minute without graphics. I was mainly focused on minutes 3 to 4. We had planned the shots well for film. Although they didn't work out as well. I decided that it would be best to show cross cuts of different scenes and then eventually show the out come of them. That way it could have some form that wasn't just one shot after another. I thought it would be best to do it like that so that it seems like something is actually happening and not lose my viewers attention. I then put together the final scenes. I didn't organize the final scenes with the rest because they were submitted later than the first dump. It threw me off so I spent some time getting the right ones. I was able to find two angles that worked pretty well. Although we did have that low angle it didn't fit right and it kind of through the film off. I decided to stick with just the medium shot off to the side and the over the shoulder from Jackie. That's about it for this blog, I'll see you guys in the next one I'll finish off the second day of editing and talk about the third and final day of our production.
