Final Days of Editing

Hey guys, so for this blog I'll just get right into on the second and third days of editin
g. After adding the scenes in the office I finished adding the closing scenes of the murder and Jackie laughing and crying outside the home. The third day I had to work in the morning until 4. I decided it would be best to call for that day off and continue editing. So as soon as I woke up I went straight to editing. I reviewed my work from the last day and saw many minor problems which were resolved pretty easily. The next step was to figure out the titles and where to put them as well as adding the music. I found a great font on dafonts.com which fit perfectly for the films theme. I downloaded it and immediately began creating the titles. The next step was adding the title in between minute two and three. Premeire Pro had a graphics option which had a nice pop up screen where I can write what I wanted into the text box. I didn't like the graphic much but I used it and then edited it. I took away the part where it disappears and just kept the part where it pops out. I tried adding a red-ish shadow but it didn't fit into the film so that was quickly removed. At the end of it all I created the Director title which wasn't made. I didn't realize it until I began to export the film. Around that time the first cut was done without the graphics and music so I sent to my team to review. They seemed to like it very well and I got my music and added it into the film. Soon as I was done I exported the film at the highest render quality and had my team review the final project. They both seemed to like it very much. We ended up cutting the opening scene from the final cut and decided it would be best to add a different scene of Jackie gambling to meet the time. That's all from me on everything production for this film. I can't wait for you guys to see the final product in my next blog see you there!
